Supporting National Water Security with an Efficient Flow Control Solution
For a crucial national water conservancy project in Vietnam, Arrowhead Vietnam has delivered a comprehensive solution of control and isolation valves to the Ea H'leo Reservoir.
In national economic development, anticipation and preparation are equally important as focusing on immediate needs. The Ea H'leo Reservoir Project is a key national water initiative designed to ensure efficient water resource management, support essential agricultural production, and meet increasing climate challenges in the Central Highlands.

Securing Water Supply in the Vietnam Central Highlands
Dak Lak Province and the entire Central Highlands region face significant drought challenges during the annual dry season (generally December to May). The Ea H'leo Reservoir was specifically designed and constructed to fundamentally address the severe water scarcity in several communes in the Ea H'leo District (including Ea H'leo, Ea Ral, and Ea Sol).
The project required implementing a high-quality, efficient water storage and supply control system that could ensure highly effective, multi-year water regulation and storage in this drought-prone region.
The Ea H'leo Reservoir has a total capacity of 26 million cubic meters, providing crucial irrigation water for approximately 5,000 hectares of farmland in Dak Lak Province, while also meeting domestic, industrial, and livestock water demands for residents.

Comprehensive Solutions for Reliable Control
Arrowhead Vietnam supplied a wide range of valve solutions for the project, all aimed at ensuring the local community can effectively manage climate variations and secure long-term, reliable operation of the water system.
Durable Valves for Crucial Purposes
Arrowhead’s delivery included a diverse portfolio of products tailored to the varying needs of the storage and distribution network:
RVHX Non-rising Resilient Seated Gate Valves (DN100–DN600): These isolation valves provide reliable, tight shut-off capability crucial for pipeline maintenance and section control.
A200 Adjustable Pressure Reducing Valves (DN250–DN450): These control valves maintain precise, stable downstream pressure, protecting the network from spikes and ensuring consistent supply.
YSTF Y-strainers (DN250–DN450): Installed upstream of control valves, these units protect sensitive equipment from debris, ensuring the long-term efficiency and reliability of the entire system.
AVRX Air Release Valves (DN50–DN150) and AVMX(S) Micro Exhaust Valves (DN25–DN32): These valves release trapped air during filling and operation, preventing pressure surges and pipeline collapse and ensuring the safety and efficiency of water transmission.

Arrowhead’s advanced solutions help alleviate drought-season water shortages for local crops and residents, ensuring long-term infrastructure operation and supporting the region’s sustainable development goals.
